Roster-based Task Assignment Integration

I manage multiple properties with more than one team member, each working on a fixed weekly roster.

For example:

  • Isaac: Tuesday–Thursday

  • Guri: Friday–Monday

Currently, tasks and notifications in Hospitable aren’t automatically assigned based on who is rostered on for a given day. This creates unnecessary manual admin and increases the risk of tasks being sent to the wrong person or missed altogether.

Feature request:
Enable roster-based task assignment so cleaning tasks, inspections, and operational jobs are automatically assigned to the correct team member based on predefined work schedules.

Fastest path to implementation (suggestion):
Rather than building full rostering functionality from scratch, an initial integration with existing workforce/rostering software (e.g. Humanforce / Human Force) could be the fastest and most flexible path to a solution. Many hosts already use dedicated tools to manage shifts, availability, and leave — syncing this data into Hospitable would allow task assignments to stay accurate without duplicating systems.

Why this matters:

  • Significantly reduces manual admin

  • Prevents task assignment errors

  • Improves accountability and reliability

  • Makes Hospitable far more scalable for hosts with multiple team members

  • Supports sick leave, shift swaps, and growing teams

This would be a strong complement to Hospitable’s automation-first approach and would be especially valuable for professional and multi-property hosts.
