If you’re reading this and wondering why it’s important, the reasons for this functionality are that as the system currently functions, ALL members of a particular team/role get notified about reservation activity. There’s no way to pause a teammate and we are forced to categorize people differently if we don’t want certain people informed about certain types of updates which is inconvenient and inaccurate.
We need the ability to PAUSE a teammate and the ability to create our own roles/teams.
Example: I have a property maintenance person who also maintains the hot tubs. He needs to know about each and every reservation so he gets text alerts for new, cancelled and updated reservations as a member of the Maintenance team.
I also have a backup hot tub maintenance person who only needs to be notified if the primary property maintenance person isn’t available (and when I assign tasks to him). This backup does not need to know about all my reservations. As it is now, I am forced to to find an unused role (like “Laundry”) and assign the backup hot tub person to that unused role so that he doesn’t get notified like the primary property maintenance person. But that only works if I have an unused role or a role not being notified of all my reservations (i.e. Laundry).

This is necessary. There are too few roles currently available. I’d like to be able to create my own roles.
