This is extremely important, especially for highly seasonal properties! Have been burned too many times from someone reserving a home 9+ months out at a high ADR, then 3 weeks before the reservation date cancelling the reservation with no penalty, then we re-rent it at a much, much lower ADR. Having the ability to adjust availability with different cancellation policies helps to prevent that from happening!

One thing that should help, but not fully address your use case: we will look at setting different refundable and non-refundable rates and policies for Airbnb and Booking. That should allow you to have a more aggressive policy without being penalized for it.
I’m not sure yet how much control we have over when a specific cancellation policy is bookable, but we’ll be looking into it soon.
