Is this just relevant to pet fees? Anywhere else you need this?

no.
’per_pet’/’per_pet_per_night’ is just for pet fee
And yes we need the others:
these fees exist on airbnb as well:
Management Fees
Community Fees
Linen Fees
Resort Fees
and they have these pricing types:
‘per_stay’
‘per_guest’
‘per_night’
‘per_guest_per_night’
Towels and linen laundry costs for two people are around 64 PLN gross.
Cleaning service wants 249 PLN gross per apartment.
So we setup
cleaning: 249 per stay
linen: 32 per guest per stay (so it scales)
we are not consistent with the vat though, sometimes we give prices net like cleaning just 200 and hide the vat in the management fees and also sometimes we hide the linen fees in the management fees also.
That is because this way they don’t show up/aren’t listed as a fee, but instead are added on top of the nightly prices. So it’s a psychological trick to not shock guests with two many (visible) fees.
Maybe not important, but just to know the full picture.
On booking you’ll find
these pricing types:
N/A
Euro/Stay
Euro/Night
%
(Euro/Night/Guest missing 😩)
for these fees:
Service charge
Resort fee
Cleaning fee
Towel fee
Electricity fee
Bed linen fee
Gas fee
Oil fee
Wood fee
Water usage fee
Environment fee
Spa fee
Transfer fee
