Add per-reservation upsell data to Zapier field mapping

Problem statement:

Hosts who use Zapier to automatically export reservation data to spreadsheets (e.g., for sharing with cleaners) cannot include whether a specific guest purchased an upsell (such as linens). The upsell fields are not exposed in the Zapier trigger payload, making it impossible to track this information automatically.

Current workaround:

Hosts must manually check each reservation in Hospitable to see if the guest purchased an upsell, or build a custom integration using the API to pull the additional data.

Impact:

  • Extra manual work to check each reservation for upsell purchases
  • Inability to automatically inform cleaners about linens upsell status
  • Increased risk of errors or missed information when sharing booking details

Proposed solution:

Include upsell purchase data (e.g., linens purchased: yes/no) as a field in the Zapier reservation trigger payload, so hosts can map it to spreadsheet columns like any other reservation field.

Unlock:

Hosts could automatically generate and share up-to-date spreadsheets with their cleaners that include upsell status, saving time and ensuring accurate information for property preparation.
