Add secondary guests to direct bookings for communication

Problem statement:

Hosts occasionally have multiple guests on a single direct booking who all need to receive updates and be able to communicate. Currently, there is no way to add a second guest to a direct booking so they can receive messages and reply to questions.

Current workaround:

Hosts must use text messages to reach out to secondary guests individually, which becomes confusing and difficult to manage.

Impact:

  • Creates extra manual work for hosts
  • Leads to confusion when managing multiple communication channels
  • Risk of miscommunication between multiple parties

Proposed solution:

Allow hosts to add an additional email address and guest name to direct bookings. When communications are sent between any party, all listed individuals would receive a copy of the message and the host's response by email. Automated messages would also be sent to all listed individuals. Future enhancement could include text messaging support.
