App Speed, Convenience, & Accessibility

I have been with you guys since SmartBnB, I’ma mogul user and investor so I fully believe in what you are building. Over the past several townhalls I have heard vague complaints about the app being slow 🐌 Nik requested that those comments be directed here, but I didn’t really find an existing comment about it so I am chiming in on serval comments from the 5/13/26 town hall about app problems mentioned…. 🧐

I have experienced the same issue with the app seeming to get slower and slower. For example that the app takes around 10s to load the Home page, another 6s to the inbox, another 4s to load the conversation. None of this is incredibly slow but on a busy day 20s is a long time, compare this to ~8s getting to the same message on AirBnB, and about the same as getting to it on the hospitable web interface. I can say this seems different than in the past, I cant give you an answer as to WHEN exactly this started, I think it was more of a creep than all at once.

I would propose potential solutions 🤔 :

• determine the bottleneck (DB back end, infrastructure, design) and resolve

• allow me to pick my app landing page, ie straight to calendar (saving some time pulling/rendering info I don’t need)

• having notifications trigger landing in the correct place within the app. ie if I get an alert that a guest messaged me and I click on it, load THAT message not the dashboard.

For reference I am running iOS26 on an iPhone 17 Pro connected to wifi when testing.
