Problem statement
When a cohost charges a guest through the Airbnb Resolution Center (e.g., pool heating fees, damage charges), Airbnb pays 100% of that charge directly to the listing ownerβnot split between owner and cohost. However, Hospitable's commission agreement applies the cohost's commission rate to these charges on the owner statement, creating a mismatch: the statement shows the cohost earning a commission, but in reality the cohost receives nothing because the full amount went to the owner.
