Billing Flexibility for Owner-Only Stays on Active Properties
As a customer, I’d like clearer or alternative billing treatment for properties that are active but only used for owner stays during a billing cycle. In these cases, the property isn’t generating guest bookings or revenue, even though it remains active in the account.
It would be helpful to understand whether owner-only usage could be handled differently from guest-facing usage, or if there are options that better align billing with how the property is being used during that period.
This would improve transparency and expectations for customers managing multiple properties, particularly during low-usage or off-season months.

I have 10 properties and 7 are short term, 3 are 30 day and longer, one of those is used a number of times per year for odd blocks of time. Each time an owner stay is started, I have to pay for that property under the mogul plan for that month, regardless if there is a revenue event for that property or not. My current workaround is to block out the time but then I can’t tell and my team can’t tell an owner stay from any other blocked out time period event. My solution is to make owner stays a non triggering event under the mogul plan, we are not trying to game the plan with owner stays as we always have to pay a minimum just to be on the mogul plan, but just want to pay for value when revenue is created for a property.
