Date Range Conditions for Custom Codes

Problem statement:

• Currently, custom code conditions do not support fixed calendar date ranges. Hosts cannot trigger specific message content based on the time of year (e.g., seasonal warnings for wildfire smoke).

Current workaround:

• Hosts must either send the message to all guests regardless of the date or manually send messages to guests whose stays fall within the desired window.

Impact:

• This creates additional manual work for hosts and leads to a poor guest experience, as guests receive irrelevant information during off-seasons.

Proposed solution:

• Add the ability to set a "Date Range" condition for custom codes, allowing hosts to specify a start and end date (e.g., July 15 to October 1) for the content to be included.

• Hosts can automate seasonal communications, ensuring guests receive timely and relevant information without manual intervention.
