Devices Overview displays stale battery and online/offline status for smart locks

Problem Statement

The Devices Overview page shows outdated battery percentage and potentially stale online/offline status for smart locks. When clicking into the lock detail view, the live/accurate data is displayed, creating a significant discrepancy between the two views. For example, the overview may show 14% battery while the detail view shows the correct 98% after recent battery replacement.

Current Workaround

Hosts must click into each individual lock's detail view to verify the actual battery level and online status, rather than being able to trust the overview dashboard. Browser refresh does not resolve the stale data in the overview.

Impact

• Business-critical risk: Hosts cannot trust the overview to identify locks that genuinely need attention, potentially leading to middle-of-the-night lockouts for guests
• Operational inefficiency: Requires manual verification of each lock individually rather than quick scanning of the overview
