We do almost exclusively mid-term (31+ day) rentals and we don't use "instant booking" on any platform. Every prospective guest goes through a vetting process, and current guests are always given the option to extend their stays with 30 days' notice. We also accept bookings in a way that minimizes vacancy across our 20+ properties.

This means our calendar only gives a general sense of availability. If a property is showing up as booked, then it is definitely booked. But a date showing up as available doesn't guarantee availability or that we would accept a booking on that date. All of our listings include the following verbiage:

★ Please inquire about availability before submitting a booking request. We allow guests to extend their stay, so the calendar may not fully reflect availability. With our 31-night minimum stay, check-in dates may also be limited based on the booking gaps between reservations.

Our calendar shows up on Airbnb, VRBO, and FF, but not on our own web site. It's actually embarrassing to not be able to show availability on our site, especially since we have a powerful tool like Hospitable in our arsenal.

Hi @Angela AUSBURN could you share a little more detail on the request here? It sounds like you are looking for a widget that has a calendar with availability only, and does not allow the guest to actually submit a booking request? Do you not want guests to be able to book from the site?

Hi @Abby Grous one of your colleagues suggested I add my previous comment as a reply here, so…
