Dynamic Pricing Selecting Data Range (Period)

What do you think about creating dynamic prices for a specific date range (period)? I'd like to use dynamic pricing, but sometimes the price gets too low, so I'd like to change prices only for the next two months or choose when I want to change them. Not for all open months.

    I want to see ability to see and control impact of holidays on pricing. Recently I saw a problem where the price was too low (and min nights) for a major national holiday.

    Hey @Etienne And Gustavo, Matt here 👋, designer at Hospitable. I’m curious to hear more here. There are a few ways you could get close to achieving what you described today:

    • You mentioned “Sometimes the price gets too low.” For this, go to Dynamic Pricing > Minimum Price - this ensures your nightly rate never drops below the floor you set.

    • You mentioned “I’d like to change prices but not for all open months.” For this, go to Dynamic Pricing > Advanced Settings > Far Future Sensitivity - here you can fine-tune pricing for future dates, for example by raising them further out.

    • Another option is to use rule-sets for particular seasons or months. For example, if you want July, August, and December to never drop below $300/night, you can create a rule-set with a $300 minimum and apply it only to those months.
