This would be such a time-saver, plus feels more legit from the guest's POV. In fact, I'm considering switching apps for this feature especially.

I would like a setting that did not allow guests to see checkin info (door codes, wifi, etc...) until doc is e-signed.

It would be much better to be able to upload a document and flag the fields that require renter signature (like the way Docusign works). I use signed agreements for my mid-term rentals, and Illinois law requires me to provide specific documents and obtain tenant signatures on those documents (i.e. Radon disclosure, Lead paint disclosure, etc). The text format used currently doesn't seem to allow for that.
I currently use Docusign, but it would be fantastic to have this automated through Hospitable. As it stands with this beta release, I'll still need to use Docusign.

it would be great to be fully customizable. The city of Palm Springs requires signatures from every guest staying at the property.

I operate MTRs, and this feature would help out this market in adding a little bit more peace of mind, while also making Hospitable a great "one-stop-shop" instead of using multiple apps, especially for guests of longer stays (>30 days). It would also be nice if it was dynamic, or at least let the guest renew, if the guest chooses to extend their stay (e.g. guest books for 30 days, but would like to extend another 15-30 days). Whichever makes most legal sense. :)

I just moved over from a different platform to Hospitable and was disappointed that the e-sign feature isn't already in place. I would greatly appreciate this feature, as getting e-signed rental agreements is a bit of a process that I have to do with each booking. I would happily pay for this add-on feature, as I am already paying for it elsewhere. I have a rental agreement in template form in which I add the newly booked guest's name, phone, address, opt-in button for receiving emails from me, and the booking dates and times. I have to manually fill in the templated document and manually send it to the guest. Having that in (Hospitable) house would be so, so, so much better.

It's important to be able to hold off certain automated messaging (e.g. welcome guide and door codes) until e-signature is completed.

Guesty does this well. Even has a tick box to ask if the guest is booking on behalf of someone else
