Enable Guest Portal to live on custom domain
Guests really never need to know what PMS we’re using. Hospitable serves us best when it’s in the background doing powerful time saving things.
The portal should live on a custom domain (and more specifically OUR OWN domain) to keep the experience cohesive. @Tim Parry

I set up a custom domain for my guest portal only to find out the custom domain is only seen in the address bar after the guest clicks the link in the guest experience. You guys got it backwards. I integrate Touch Stay into my guest experience and they achieve this concept perfectly.

Hey @Anthony Rallo, good news, this is already possible!
You can configure the custom domain you want to us for your guest portal by going to Guest Experience → Guest portal → Settings. However, this is for hospitable-managed domains only. This means Hospitable needs to handle the DNS for your domain.
If you have any issues with setup, please contact our wonderful support team!

Thank you @Matt Jongbloet - very exciting! Do you have a link on how to properly set this up for everyone?

Hey @Anthony Rallo Yes, here is a link to our support articles on Domains and Guest Portals:
https://help.hospitable.com/en/articles/11404404-domains
https://help.hospitable.com/en/articles/9360903-guest-portal
Once you have a domain connected, you can configure it for your guest portal by going to Guest Experience → Guest portal → Settings. You can also purchase your domain name with Hospitable if you don’t already have one!
Let our support team know if you run into any issues!

@Matt Jongbloet I’m confused. Why cannot I not manage my domain manually and allow for GP to be on my domain? I am familiar with DNS and manage it for all of my domains. I have mail routing and subdomains within the domain we wish to use (and manage that within our own service).

@Anthony Rallo You can manage your domain manually, see the article: https://help.hospitable.com/en/articles/11404404-domains for more guidance. Here are the screenshots on the selections you’d need to make “Connect my existing domain” > “I’ll manage my own DNS”
