Enhanced Tracking for Widget Usage on Self-Hosted Sites

Add a feature that allows hosts to track the usage of the Hospitable widget on their sites. Specifically, it would be beneficial to have the ability to see:

  • How many times the widget has been used: This would help in understanding the engagement level with the widget.

  • Which dates were looked at by visitors: This data is crucial for analyzing visitor interest and planning marketing strategies accordingly.

  • Duration of interaction: Understanding how long visitors engage with the widget can indicate the clarity and appeal of the interface.

  • Visitor demographics like geographical location: This could help in tailoring the widget content to fit regional preferences.

  • Conversion rates: Monitoring how interactions lead to bookings would evaluate the widget's effectiveness in achieving business goals.

    I agree with the 2 other comments. This is a complete dealbreaker for direct booking capability. And with how difficult hospitable’s integrations are, it would be too complicated to use hospitable’s management software with a different direct booking widget - therefore, without this capability, our company may need to switch management softwares.
