Some hosts—especially those based in Europe or hosting primarily European guests—use the day–month–year (DD/MM/YYYY) date format. Currently, dates generated through shortcodes and guest-facing communications follow the month–day–year (MM/DD/YYYY) format, which can be confusing for guests who are accustomed to the European standard.
It would be helpful to allow users to select their preferred date format in settings. This preference would apply to areas where dates are automatically inserted, such as:
Message shortcodes (e.g., check-in and check-out dates)
Automated messages sent to guests
Potentially other guest-facing areas where dates appear
