Extend or Modify Booking Dates, Collect Tourist Taxes, and Adjust Guest Counts Directly in Hospitable

Problem Statement:

• Currently, to extend or shorten a guest's stay, I need to access the OTA extranet directly (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com)
• There's no way to modify reservation dates within Hospitable itself
• Tourist/city tax collection requires manual tracking and separate payment requests
• Guest count changes after booking require OTA access to update and adjust pricing

Current Workaround:

• Manually logging into each OTA extranet to change booking dates and guest counts
• Sharing OTA account credentials with VAs/team members who need to manage reservations
• Manually calculating and collecting tourist taxes separately
• Manually tracking guest count changes and processing refunds/charges

Impact:

• Operational inefficiency — extra steps to manage simple date changes and guest count updates
• Security risk — sharing OTA login credentials with team members

Proposed Solution:

• Add functionality to extend or shorten stay dates directly within Hospitable for existing reservations, with automatic OTA sync
• Add permission settings so account owners can control which team members/VAs can modify reservations
• Add tourist tax/city tax collection features: per person per night or fixed amounts, rules for children/exemptions, automatic payment requests and tracking before check-in
• Allow authorized team members to update guest count directly in Hospitable, with automatic pricing adjustments per listing rules and OTA policies
