Changelog Feature Request
Now that Hospitable is meant to be the source of truth and pushing information out to OTAs, it’s vitally important that it keeps a changelog. We need to know when changes occurred and who made the changes.
If one day I login to find my checkout time has drastically changed, I need to quickly see when that change happened and who on my team did it, so they can be coached. This feature request is crucial for teams.
It use to be that Airbnb was the source of truth, so as long as no one had that login, they could only mess things up in Hospitable, which could just be resynced. Now that Hospitable is the source of truth, errors made here push out to everyone. It’s going to become more and more important that we hold our teammates accountable for the changes they make in Hospitable and a changelog will help quickly determine who has completed what work. This is a good one! No timeline yet, but we have had several requests for it. I’m going to merge it with the existing requests for an activity log. Thank you!

This would be an invaluable feature for self-managed individuals in the United States to submit for tax purposes, providing proof of activity in working on their STR investments. It would eliminate the need for owners/managers to manually log their time using another method, which can be time-consuming and inconvenient for those with busy schedules. This feature would be highly appreciated by many owners and operators who would likely be willing to pay for it.
