Important: Ensure line items match the Revenue Dashboard gross income in the Owner’s Portal

Currently, in the Owner’s Portal Revenue Dashboard, it would be helpful to update some of the wording to make it clearer for owners:

  • Gross Reservation Income – keep as is

  • Your Net Reservation Income 💰 – change to Owner’s Net Reservation Income

  • Management Reservation Fees – change to Guest Reservation Fees (because the word “management” confuses owners and make them think it refers to our commission from the word ‘management’)

  • Management Commission – keep as is, or change to PMC Commission

  • Transactions – change to Owner Charges/Transactions

Our owners frequently ask why the numbers don’t match. Please see the example below. The dashboard is currently missing pass-through taxes and host fees, which causes confusion.

Ideally, the breakdown should total exactly to the Gross Reservation Income. In other PMS systems I’ve worked with, the totals always reconcile this way. In the current setup, the numbers don’t add up, which may lead owners to wonder where the missing amount is.

It should be like this:

  • Gross Reservation Income – $6,374.72

Should equal to:

  • Owner’s Net Reservation Income 💰 – $2,194.56

  • Guest Reservation Fees – $1,773

  • PMC Commission – $936.83

  • Owner Charges/Transactions – $615.94

  • Pass-Through Taxes - $296.83

  • Airbnb/Vrbo Channel commissions - $557.56 (Host fees also confuse owners, as they may think these fees are taken by us as the host, when in reality they are paid to the booking channels.)
