💬 We'd love your feedback on the thermostat integration!

    Hi everyone 👋

It’s been just over 2 months since we launched our Ecobee and Honeywell thermostat integration, and we’re looking to gather some quick feedback from those of you who showed interest.

Whether you’ve already connected thermostats or haven’t gotten around to it yet, we’d love to understand what’s working, what’s missing, and what (if anything) is holding you back from using it.

👉 Take the 2-minute survey here:

Your feedback will help shape what we add next and make sure the integration delivers the value you’re looking for.

Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts! 🙌

    Excited for this!!

Going to put in a plug for a few platforms I use that I would be stoked to see integrated:
    #1 Mysa

    #2 Cielo Breez

    #3 Nest

Both Mysa and Cielo have Google Home integrations if there is a connection that can be built there.

Seam has this built in. Talk with them and roll it out quicker!

Please add Cielo - our large rental has three thermostats, and this would be a lifesaver!

I would love to see hospitable send a status to put the ecobee into away mode.

The most important feature to me is to be able to set a minimum cooling temperature (so that guests cannot set the cooling temperature below a given temperature, say, 70ºF) and a maximum heating temperature (similar, say, 80ºF). The only thermostat that I've found that supports that is the Sensi. Ridiculous, right?

This could be accomplished by integrating with IFTTT instead of all the smart thermostats. IFTTT currently integrates with hundreds of services. By integrating with IFTTT, Hospitable users would be able to automate certain smart home automations based on data from Hospitable (such as check-in/check-out times). Automations include temperature settings, light settings, and even things like having music on when guests arrive.

This would best be accomplished by allowing IFTTT integrations. IFTTT allows for the integration of all the different components of your smart home, including lights, thermostats, music, locks, etc.
