Localised Guest Greeting Language

Add the ability for Hospitable to automatically localise greeting messages based on the guest’s country or language data. For example, the initial greeting could be sent in the guest’s local language rather than defaulting to English.

How it would work:

• Detect guest locale using available data (phone number country code, booking country, or profile language).

• Automatically swap the greeting message to the matching language.

• Fall back to English if the language cannot be confidently determined.

Example:

• Guest phone number: +886 → Greeting sent in Traditional Chinese

• Guest country: Japan → Greeting sent in Japanese

Why this is valuable:

• Creates a more personalised and welcoming guest experience

• Improves clarity for international guests

• Reduces back-and-forth caused by language barriers

• Helps hosts appear more professional and thoughtful at scale

Optional Enhancements:

• Host toggle to enable/disable localised greetings

• Ability for hosts to edit greeting templates per language

• Manual language override at the reservation level.
