Log into original Hospitable tab instead of opening a new one

When we log into Hospitable, it takes us to a new tab, leaving the first one open (and useless). Kelly told me it is for marketing, but it seems that this is happening to Hospitable customers who have already subscribed. It does look like a Hospitable ad on that page, but we’re already paying for the service so are not good targets for ads. I’d like the login to happen in the original tab so there’s not an additional one to close every time we login.
