Manual Retry Button for Failed Guest Experience Messages

Problem Statement:

  • When a Guest Experience scheduled message fails to send or isn't delivered, there's no way to manually retry it from the GX log
  • Hosts must manually copy the message text and paste it into the guest's Inbox conversation to resend

Current Workaround:

  • Copy the message content from the GX log
  • Navigate to the guest's conversation in the Inbox
  • Paste and send the message manually

Impact:

  • Time-consuming and error-prone process
  • Increases risk of sending incorrect or incomplete messages
  • Creates extra manual work for hosts managing multiple properties

Proposed Solution:

  • Add a "Retry Send" button directly in the Guest Experience log for scheduled messages that failed or weren't sent
  • One-click resend without needing to navigate to the Inbox

Unlock:

  • Hosts can quickly resend failed messages with a single click
  • Reduces manual work and potential for errors
  • Improves guest communication reliability
