MCP Integration with Guest Portal

Problem Statement

The Hospitable MCP connection currently allows AI agents and workflows to access account data (properties, reservations, calendars, transactions) and send guest messages, but it does not integrate with the Guest Portal. This means MCP-powered automations cannot interact with Guest Portal features like rental agreements, verification steps, upsells, or other guest-facing tasks.

Current Workaround

Hosts must manually manage Guest Portal interactions or use separate tools and workflows outside of MCP to handle rental agreements and other portal-based tasks.

Impact

• Limits the automation potential of MCP for end-to-end guest workflows
• Requires hosts to switch between MCP-powered tools and manual Guest Portal management
• Reduces efficiency for hosts who want to fully automate guest interactions from booking through check-in

Proposed Solution

Extend the Hospitable MCP connection to include Guest Portal functionality, allowing AI agents and workflows to:

• Access rental agreement status
• Trigger or manage verification steps
• Interact with upsells and other Guest Portal features
