Messaging UI/UX on Android

Are there plans to improve the messaging function for Androids? Almost always when I type a message to a guest on my phone, the send button is not visible and if you move the text in any way(looking for the send button at the bottom right) it refreshes and everything I’ve typed disappears and I get to start over again. Well, usually I just go to my laptop because this happens daily. Retyping the same message on my phone will yield the same result….so if it is messaging related, I have to use my laptop. Am I doing something wrong or do others have the same experience?
