Metrics - Saved Custom Date Search

It would be good if metrics had an option save search criteria for a custom date range. The options allow me to save a view but this is saved to the searched month and year (which is fine for financial year etc) but I'd like to be able to report on checkins that align with ongoings. As such an option to save a custom date search that is not tied a month or year would be beneficial. This would be similar standard search options such as Last Month, Last Quarter, Last Financial Year, This Financial Year (all of which would be good standard search options to have available).

As an example I would add and save a date search range and save it Monthly Revenue.

Monthly Revenue (15 March - 15 April)

Using Monthly Revenue in August would report on 15 August - 15 September, etc.

This provides me instant revenue data that aligns with outgoings for the coming period.
