Option to not require guest to upload driver's license/picture to direct book

Can we create an option for us to toggle off guest verification (driver’s license/photo upload)? I feel like this deters people from booking directly as it is an extra step they wouldn’t have to take if booking through an OTA or a hotel website.

    Hi @Kyrie Hayden ,

    We require guest verification for all Direct Premium reservations in order to provide damage protection, to protect you from fraud and to help dispute chargebacks as the merchant of record. Because of this, we do not have plans to make guest verification completely optional for Direct Premium. If you do not want to require guest verification, Direct Basic might be a better fit for you.

    With that said, we are currently working on making guest verification easier, and have plans to allow returning verified guests to skip it.
