Please add a section in the Owner Portal that shows the commission agreement / statement calculation settings for each property (read-only), so owners can understand how their owner statements are being generated.
Problem / why this matters
Owners often review a statement and ask questions like:
“What commission % are you using for my unit?”
“Is it different for Direct vs Airbnb vs Booking.com?”
“Do cleaning fees pass through to me or to the manager?”
“Why does my statement look different than another owner’s?”
Right now, owners don’t have visibility into the underlying commission agreement/settings, which leads to repeated texts/emails and creates distrust—even when the statement is correct.
Proposed solution
In Owner Portal → Property → Financials (or Statements), add a “Commission agreement / Statement settings” panel that shows (read-only) the exact configuration used to calculate statements for that owner/property, for example:
Management fee type (percentage vs fixed)
Management fee amount (e.g., 20% / $X per booking)
Platform-specific commission rules (Airbnb vs Direct vs Booking.com), if supported
Whether cleaning fees go to owner vs manager (and any exceptions)
Any additional pass-through fees / markups (if applicable)
Effective date (when the agreement/settings took effect)
Permissions / controls (important)
Read-only for owners (no edits).
Property-scoped: owners only see agreements for their own units.
Optional toggle for PMs: “Show commission agreement to owners” (some PMs may prefer not to expose it).
Impact
Improves transparency and trust, reduces owner support messages, and makes Owner Portal significantly more useful for multi-owner setups where statement questions are frequent.
