Pass Guest Portal Link to Touch Stay

Since VRBO is now trying to block all external links, it would be great if we could send the guest portal link to Touch Stay (and I’m sure other messaging platforms) so we can deliver the link via email or text through Touch Stay’s templates.

This would bypass the block from VRBO, and other OTAs who eventually start blocking external links. This avoids hosts from needing to manually send their guest portal and guidebook links to VRBO guests.

    I agree with Joe here. Perhaps Hospitable can send the link via an SMS message instead of through the platform. You all already us their number to enter the code to sign the agreement.

      I like Hospitable doing this via SMS better. We’re hoping to have a SMS integration for guest messaging out in the next few months.

      Note that Airbnb is now moving to temporary numbers, which I believe means all messaging would route through their gateway and be vulnerable to similar content controls. I wouldn’t be surprised if VRBO follows suit at some point.
