Per-channel minimum stay settings

Problem statement

  • Hosts cannot set different minimum stay requirements for different booking channels (Airbnb, Vrbo, Direct, etc.)
  • All channels currently share the same minimum stay setting, which is pushed from Hospitable to all connected listings
  • This forces hosts to choose a single minimum stay that may not be optimal for each platform's audience

Current workaround

  • Hosts must accept the same minimum stay across all channels, or
  • Use partial management and manage minimum stays directly on individual platforms (which defeats the purpose of centralized management)

Impact

  • Hosts lose potential bookings on channels that could support shorter stays
  • Hosts cannot optimize pricing and occupancy strategies per channel
  • Reduces flexibility to tailor policies to each platform's guest behavior

Proposed solution

Allow hosts to set different minimum stay requirements per channel, similar to how pricing can already be managed differently per channel. For example, a host could set a 30-night minimum for Airbnb and a 2-night minimum for Direct and Vrbo.

Unlock

  • Hosts can optimize minimum stay strategies for each platform's unique audience
  • Greater control over booking policies and revenue management
  • Ability to accept shorter stays on some channels while maintaining longer minimums on others
