Per-Property and Per-User Notification Controls
Problem: Currently, notification settings are global. Users cannot disable push and email notifications for specific properties while keeping them active for others. This is particularly challenging for accounts managing a mix of fully managed properties and "pricing-only" clients.
Current Workaround: Users must either receive all notifications (leading to notification fatigue) or disable them entirely, which risks missing critical alerts for fully managed properties.
Impact: Increased operational noise and reduced efficiency for property managers who only need to be notified for a subset of their portfolio.
Proposed Solution: Implement granular notification controls that allow the primary account holder and other users to toggle push and email notifications for bookings, inquiries, and guest messages on a per-property and per-user basis. These controls should be separate by property, notification type, and channel (push/email). Additionally, urgent alerts (e.g., payment or sync failures, booking requests requiring action) should be categorized separately from routine notifications so users can choose to keep them active.
Constraints: Changing these notifications should not affect other users' or cleaners' notifications, guest messages, or automations. Pricing sync, calendar sync, direct bookings, payment processing, and inbox access must continue to function normally.
Unlock: This would allow managers to maintain pricing and calendar sync for all clients while only receiving active alerts for the properties they fully manage, without needing separate accounts for every client.
