Pre-booking inquiry option with AI assistance on Direct booking sites

Problem statement:

  • Guests cannot ask questions before completing a Direct booking
  • This creates uncertainty for guests who want to clarify details before committing
  • Hosts miss the opportunity to address concerns that could prevent booking

Current workaround:

  • Hosts manually add their email or phone number on the Direct site for guests to reach out before booking

Proposed solution:

  • For questions AI can't handle, route to the host β€” messages would appear in the Hospitable Inbox
