I wanted to share an idea with you that could be a valuable feature to add to Hospitable and should be relatively easy to implement.
I often lose significant revenue when guests who booked far in advance at a premium price check the listing's price again a few days before arrival. They sometimes find a lower price due to discount rules or other factors, cancel their existing booking, and rebook at the lower rate. I'm sure I'm not alone in facing this issue.
Perhaps a feature could be developed in Hospitable where, if a cancellation occurs, the price for the affected nights is immediately updated to the last booked price for a configurable X hours. Additionally, there could be an option to add a premium to discourage immediate rebooking at the lower rate.
I thought I'd share this with you, as it has been causing significant revenue loss for us lately.
