Private Host-Only Notes for Reservations

Problem Statement:

• Hosts have no way to add personal, private notes to reservations that are visible only to themselves
• Any notes added are currently visible to all teammates, which may include sensitive or personal information the host doesn't want shared

Current Workaround:

• Hosts are keeping notes in external tools (spreadsheets, personal notes apps) outside of Hospitable
• This creates a fragmented workflow and increases the risk of missing important information

Impact:

• Operational inefficiency — hosts must switch between platforms to access their notes
• Risk of sensitive information being inadvertently shared with teammates
• Time wasted maintaining separate note-keeping systems

Proposed Solution:

• Add the ability to create private, host-only notes on reservations that are not visible to teammates
• These notes would be stored within Hospitable and accessible only to the host who created them
