Remit Local Occupancy Tax

The is the silent elephant in the room. Taking direct bookings for most Hospitable hosts is actually not worth the hastle (if you look at how much it actually costs you to be legal) because of the painstaking challenges of filing tax (in general) but more specifically local occupancy/transient tax. Hospitable’s push to remit taxes is great, but it’s not helpful until this part of the tax burden is completed. Hospitable current articles/documentation and communication about “local taxes” is confusing and not clear enough about whether or not occupancy tax is included.
