Rename "Paid" to "Pending" in Tasks App for Payout Status

Problem Statement:

  • Cleaners and hosts see tasks marked "Paid" in the Tasks App but the funds haven't yet appeared in their bank account
  • This creates confusion about whether the payment has actually been received or is still in transit
  • The current label doesn't clearly communicate the payment timeline

Current Workaround:

  • Hosts and cleaners must manually check bank accounts to confirm whether funds have arrived
  • This requires extra communication between hosts and cleaners to verify payment status

Impact:

  • Operational friction and unnecessary back-and-forth between hosts and cleaners
  • Uncertainty and potential anxiety about whether payments are on track
  • Time wasted verifying payment status across multiple channels

Proposed Solution:

  • Change the "Paid" status label to "Pending" to indicate that the payout has been initiated but has not yet cleared in the recipient's bank account
  • Keep "Paid" or use "Settled" for when funds have actually cleared and are accessible
