Restore "Request to Book" button to dashboard

Problem statement

The "Request to Book" button that previously appeared on the Hospitable dashboard has been removed in recent navigation updates. Hosts who relied on this dashboard widget to quickly see pending reservation requests at a glance no longer have a centralized, visible way to monitor incoming requests without navigating to the Inbox.

Current workaround

Hosts must now navigate to the Inbox to find pending requests, or check individual channels separately. There is no single dashboard view that surfaces all pending requests across channels.

Impact

  • Slower response times to booking requests due to lack of visibility
  • Increased risk of missing time-sensitive requests
  • Extra clicks and navigation required to check request status
  • Loss of workflow efficiency for hosts managing multiple properties or channels

Proposed solution

Restore the "Request to Book" button (or equivalent widget) to the dashboard so hosts can see at a glance when there are pending reservation requests that need attention, similar to how it functioned before the navigation update.

Hosts would be able to quickly identify and respond to pending booking requests without navigating away from the dashboard, improving response times and reducing the risk of missed opportunities.
