Revise Metric Period Comparison
For the new metrics feature, the little red bubbles show the metrics for the same number of days prior to the filter's current start date. For example, if I select current month, it shows the a comparison of the previous month. Due to the seasonality of STRs, it would be valuable to be able compare the current period with the same period in the previous year, especially when the filter is set to a month or a quarter. This is a typical accounting technique. This would enable Quarter over Quarter (e.g. Q1 2024 compared to Q1 2023 or even prior years). or Month over Month (Mar 2024 compared to Mar 2023).

@Nik Logachev Thanks for getting after this update.
Can you please enable someway to customize the dashboard under exports? The data is easier to understand on mobile without the graphs. I just options to select which totals pacing metrics etc. of all properties on one screen that I want to compare.
The selection for booked on vs check- in for the date range is also only enabled on the old exports page. Please open that option!
Please add remaining available bookable income for a specific date range. This will help us verify our pricing to meet our gross goals.

What is going on with this? Why has the metrics update not been released? The current metrics is unusable. We need real year over year and month comparison to previous years not previous month NOW!!!!
We need to see an income line from rent ONLY after all booking fees and discounts. Every channel is different so the current gross is worthless.

I want to stay within Hospitable and quickly compare month/year over month/year metrics. Lacking this support pushes me to use Pricelabs KPIs instead. For STRs, it makes no sense to compare a month to last month. In what STR use case does the current support make sense?!

Can we get this moved up the priority list? Shopify actually has a great analytics view that would work perfectly from a feature standpoint to be able to adjust or not even show a comparison time period.

** It does not actually compare to the previous month. If you look closely, it compares to the same number of days as the selected month.
i.e. If you select the month of “March” it will compare to the last 31 days. However, February only has 28 days (29 on a good year), so it actually includes 3 days from January.
I like the functionality to look at the information month over month or compare to the same time last year, but the current data is unusable.

Why in the world would the comparison work this way? It provides no useful information and should either be updated to work properly or removed all together.
