Problem statement:
When a last-minute booking is received (less than 24 hours before check-in), scheduled messages like check-in instructions are completely deleted instead of being saved for manual use. This creates significant friction when the host eventually accepts the booking and needs to send those instructions.
Current workaround:
Hosts must manually locate the correct template and recreate the message from scratch, ensuring all dynamic fields (guest name, door code, check-in info, host name) are correctly populated β often while on mobile.
Impact:
Proposed solution:
When a scheduled message cannot be sent automatically (e.g., due to a last-minute booking), save the message in a "pending" or "draft" state so hosts can easily review and manually send it once the booking is accepted.
Unlock:
Hosts would be able to quickly send pre-populated messages to last-minute guests without manually reconstructing them, saving time and reducing errors β especially when managing bookings on mobile.
