I have apartment building and gate codes that change monthly. I need to include them in the guest variables in each check-in message. I know these well in advance, and the variable needs to rotate based on the check-in date matching the gate code month.

Yes, under Messaging Rules, it would be nice to be able to create automated messages that only happen during the months, or dates you set. My summer check-in message is different than my winter, etc.

I’d love to be able to send my Pool Rules message only if the booking falls within the pool season! Having to leave it active and go in manually each fall to remove it from everyone’s automations is annoying.

In the shortcodes section do you this there could be a calendar picker next to the variable.
this way the shortcode could be included in the message body or excluded out of season
for my use case I want to give a recommendation to guests to visit sunflower garden in summer, ice cream shop, lavender farm ect depending on the season. I would have it as a date range eg jan 1st - feb 15 for example and have name and description so that you can have a longer body message and a quick identifier

Agreed. There is a local farmers market on Saturdays that I like to remind guests about but it doesn’t run during the summer time.

Being able to use the month or season as conditions is valuable for both messages and custom codes.
There are many examples, but one that just came up is that there are fresh fruit trees where guests can pick fruit but I only want to mention that to them during June-July-August summer months and not in colder months.
