Security Deposits for Vrbo Partner Connection

Problem Statement:

• Security deposits cannot be collected on Vrbo Partner connection reservations
• Other channels (Airbnb, Vrbo Legacy, Direct, etc.) already support security deposits
• This creates an inconsistent experience across platforms

Current Workaround:

• Hosts must collect security deposits manually outside of Hospitable
• This requires off-platform communication and payment processing

Impact:

• Additional administrative work for hosts managing deposits
• Inconsistent guest experience across channels
• Increased risk of property damage without automated protection

Proposed Solution:

• Extend Hospitable's security deposit functionality to support Vrbo Partner connection reservations
• Allow hosts to set and collect deposits through Hospitable for Vrbo bookings

• Hosts would be able to protect their properties on Vrbo the same way they do on other channels
• Streamlined deposit collection within Hospitable
• Consistent experience across all connected platforms
