Send guests text messages for direct bookings
Enables hospitable messages from hosts to be sent to guests through text messinging for direct booking guests. Right now they are only sent to email or through the airbnb or vrbo app. But direct booking guests should get text messages for better communication response.

This is a MUST-have feature. We have important automated texts that get sent to guests during their stay and right before their stay (garbage, hot tub info, etc.). Right now, direct booking guests only receive an email, which most guests barely check while on vacation, making the messages essentially useless. We use these messages to really enhance the smoothness of the guest stay and it is really a detriment for direct bookings. Have been asking for this functionality for years. Hotels have this. May start looking to other PMSs to see if they have it.

Agreed! No one checks their email in a timely manner. I find myself having to cut-n-paste each “email message” & text guests directly to ensure receipt. Unprofessional.
