SMS Notifications for Cleaning Task Completion

Problem Statement:

• Currently, when cleaners mark cleaning tasks as complete in the Tasks App, hosts only receive an email notification (the "Cleaning task completed — review to release payment" email)
• There is no option to receive SMS notifications for this specific event
• Hosts who prefer SMS alerts for task completions have no way to set this up

Current Workaround:

• Hosts must manually check the task status in Hospitable to see if it's been marked complete
• Hosts rely solely on email notifications for task completion alerts

Impact:

• Hosts may miss timely updates if they don't check email regularly
• Manual checking of task status is time-consuming and inefficient
• Reduced control over notification preferences for critical task completion events

Proposed Solution:

• Add SMS as a delivery option for task completion notifications
• Allow hosts to choose between email, SMS, or both when setting up notification rules for cleaning tasks

• Hosts will receive instant SMS alerts when cleaners complete tasks
• Improved visibility and faster response times for task completion events
• Greater flexibility in notification preferences
