Hospitable used to sync to Airbnb & Vrbo but apparently stopped doing so in 2024, which means only the OTA selected as the “lead” automatically syncs. That change needs to be reversed.
Use case: Airbnb is my lead listing for my property but I got a Vrbo notification about a new booking. Hospitable didn’t alert me, block the dates, or send the user my automated guest experience messages. Instead, I had to go through Hospitable’s AI to request a manual sync for the reservation number, which means my guest didn’t get an immediate response after she booked and my calendar could have gotten double booked from Airbnb had I not been available to fix the situation.
It didn’t used to be this way and I don’t know why it changed, but it removes a lot of the usefulness of Hospitable’s automations if I have to manually monitor “non-lead” OTA bookings.
