Thermostat expanded settings
It would be good to be able to add more than one account of the same kind, and also create different start times for AC’s with check in time.
Some of us manage multiple properties other people own. With ecobee those thermostats can be shared with us to maintain, but your system does not import them for some reason, although other automation services do. So it would be good to have multiple Ecobee connected accounts with their credentials so we still have that control. For now I have to keep the other system going which isn’t desirable.
I have one home with 4 AC’s. It’s not great to run 4 AC’s at the same time in the winter after prolonged non use where they might all go to Aux heat. That can be enough to trip an entire 200 amp house breaker. I typically deal with this by staggering the start time from 4 to 1 hours before check in allowing AC’s to get back to Heat Pump mode if they started up after a long unoccupied setting.
These are all things the leading competitor in this space can do so may be worth referencing them.

Related to this but the opposite direction: you need to have the ability to delay thermostat switching to unoccupied for a set period of hours after checkout. As currently checkout is usually 10:00 a.m., the thermostats turn off by the time the cleaner gets there at 11:00. It's already excessively hot and a current override that resets every two hours is not a good solution. You need to be able to set a six-hour delay after checkout before it switches to unoccupied.

@Nicholas Kleczewski Just updating you on this ticket.
You should now be able to stagger your start time’s around check-in by creating a preset for each device and adjusting the occupied preset timing at one hour increments.
The second issue mentioned here - I.e importing shared devices, is not yet possible. This is something we are waiting on Seam for and will provide an update when we have it

Thanks for the feedback on thermostats here,
Adjusting when the occupied presets will start is something we are actively working on at the moment and should be ready within the next week. In addition, we already do some easing on the HVAC system as we will switch from long-term unoccupied to unoccupied 2 days before check-in to make that change more gradual, and reduce any strain on the system.
You should be able to connect multiple ecobee accounts to one Hospitable account and import the desired thermostats already. Could you expand on what you’re seeing here so I can take a look please? Feel free to e-mail me at Tim.parry@hospitable.com

Hi @Tim Parry, I am interested in the first part of what you mentioned above - the ability to change how long prior to check-in time the thermostat should switch to Occupied mode. In my case, it is a large house that needs 4-8 hours to reach the desired temperature. Can you share an update for when that feature is expected to roll out?

Presets now have the ability to change how long prior to check-in time the thermostat should switch to the Occupied mode. You can find this option inside your preset settings.
