Tooltips! Tooltips! Tooltips!

It would be cool to go through the entire UI and look for opportunities to have tooltips pop up with expanded information. For example, in the attached screenshot there is already a tooltip enabled, but it doesn’t give any extra information — it just repeats what you’re already hovering over. Why not h

ave the tooltip give the entire listing title?

    Here’s another example of where a tooltip could be very useful. In my notification rules, the columns are not adjustable so there’s no way to stretch the “rule name” so I can read it. So I’m looking at this rule called “Remind owner…” and I’m thinking, “Remind owner of WHAT?” The only way to see what it’s about is to drill into it. A tooltip over the “rule name” could solve this by showing the full length of text even if the column is too small to display it.

    Appreciate you calling that out. I agree that tooltips are a great opportunity to surface more useful info rather than just repeating what’s already visible.

    When you say “why not have the tooltip give the entire listing title,” what kind of information would you like to see in that tooltip, and how would that be useful to you?

      In the example screenshot I attached, the content of the tooltip is the short/internal nickname for the listing. I thought it would be helpful if it instead showed the full expanded listing title.
