Trigger Task Reminders from Checkout Events with Next Reservation Details

Problem Statement:

• When a cleaner needs to be alerted about the next check-in (including guest count) after a checkout, there's no way to tie a task reminder to a checkout event.
• Task reminders pull from the next reservation but can only be triggered by task start times, not by checkout events.
• Notification rules triggered "after checkout" pull details from the checkout reservation itself, not the next one.

Current Workaround:

• Currently, hosts must manually track next check-in details and communicate them to cleaners outside of Hospitable, or use notification rules that show the wrong reservation's information.

Impact:

• Operational inefficiency — hosts spend extra time manually coordinating with cleaners about next check-in details.
• Increased risk of errors or miscommunication when cleaners don't have accurate next guest information.
• Reduced automation — the workflow can't be fully automated within Hospitable.

Proposed Solution:

• Allow task reminders to be triggered by checkout events, with the ability to pull next reservation details (next check-in time, guest count) into the reminder message.

Unlock:

• Hosts can fully automate cleaner notifications about upcoming check-ins directly from checkout events.
• Cleaners receive accurate, timely information about the next reservation without manual intervention.
