Example: 1 dog is $150 fee, 2 dogs is an additional $25, so $175 fee
Reason: The additional cost is covering the extra cleaning probably needed and maybe a bit for likely additional wear & tear, but a 2nd dog doesn’t double that.
Example: Any kind of delivery, groceries, firewood, whatever.
Reason: Most of the cost is in the getting someone there to do a service. If someone wants more firewood, it would be a nominal additional cost.

Hello Hospitable and Harlequin, I would like to kindly add my request to this string as I believe it falls under “variable pricing”.
I would like to see more control over upsell nightly timing and price variability with the following requirements:
-Allow for hosts to configure an upsell to require a minimum number of nights. For example, a nightly priced upsell but guests must purchase 2 nights or more. Going a bit further on this one, I want to be able to “tie” an upsell number of nights to match the number of nights of the reservation. (Example, if a guest reservation is 5 nights, the only option they are shown (for a specific upsell) is a 5 night upsell which carries the nightly pricing in the upsell configuration but must be booked for the full 5 nights.)
-Allow for hosts to configure an upsell pricing to allow for discounts. I.e if a guests purchases 3 nights of an upsell, apply a 5% discount. 5 nights of an upsell, apply a 15% discount. etc.
Example: We offer basic pontoon rentals. They are not super luxury but they get the job done! This being said, we price accordingly (which is lower than anywhere else on our Lake). Due to our pricing strategy, I have identified that the pontoons do not have much profit for the following two reasons: first is team member operation cost (start and stop of the pontoon rental is costly for the team to go to the property DURING a reservation (Generally our team members only show up for turnovers or checkin/checkout services). Second is our booking software and fees.
Thus, I would like to “hit two birds with one stone” by: a.) Transfering to hospitable upsells to reduce our third party booking cost and make guest experience more seamless. and… b.) Reduce operations by ensuring no team members have to show up a second time in the middle of a reservation. The only way to acheive this is for me to be able to configure upsells that are tied to the number of nights of the reservation.
Example Reservation:
Mary has a 3 night stay from Friday - Sunday in June. She would like to purchase a pontoon and views our upsells page. I would like for the upsells page to make it mandatory for Mary to purchase the pontoon for 3 nights, exactly like her reservation. This way, I can have all of the pontoon preparation happen before her check in and the pontoon is ready waiting at the dock upon her arrival. Then, after her reservation our team can conduct the end of rental pontoon service and housekeeping, etc all with the same number of trips to the property as before and achieving a custom experience for guests that no other pontoon rental company can offer.
I would then just price the pontoon upsell accordingly giving heavy discounts for stays larger than 5 nights in accordance with the second requirement above.
Please let me know if there are any questions.
Thank you, Eric

We upsell breakfast in our villa. Because the number of guests can vary from 4-11 guests, we calculate the price by "number of guests (except infants)" x "booked nights" x "daily breakfast rate". Would be great to have a way to calculate the upsell price like this.Thank you
