Visual indicators for early check-ins, late checkouts, and upsells on the occupancy calendar

Problem Statement:

• No quick way to see all check-ins, check-outs, early check-ins, and late checkouts at a glance on the calendar

• Must navigate to different screens or maintain an external spreadsheet to get a complete picture

• Cannot quickly assess capacity when evaluating upsell requests (e.g., early check-in, baby gear rental)

Current Workaround:

• Checking reservation details individually on different screens

• Maintaining an external spreadsheet to track check-in/check-out times and upsell requests

Impact:

• Time-consuming daily operations

• Cannot make informed decisions about accepting or declining upsell requests without checking multiple sources

• Risk of missing important check-in/check-out information

• No comprehensive daily dashboard for operations

Proposed Solution:

• Add small visual indicators (icons) on reservation bars in the occupancy calendar view

• Left side of reservation bar = early check-in indicator

• Right side of reservation bar = late checkout indicator

• Multiple icons possible if there are multiple upsells (e.g., early check-in + baby gear rental)

• Similar to the dollar sign indicator shown in reservation details, but visible directly on the calendar
